The BELÁ TESORO lady braves the warm elements and lets her hair run wild. Her go-to uniform? Psychedelic sarongs accumulated during summer travels (simplicity 101). She takes her most treasured jewels for a dip in the ocean and hangs them out to dry beside her bikini. She'll offer you a sip of her iced tea sangria as well as a lipstick kiss on the cheek (if you're lucky). The BELÁ TESORO lady is fierce, always, but forever and ever charming.
BELÁ TESORO's 'Sun Queen' lookbook was captured during one of the hottest days of Brisbane's sizzling summer, so it was only apt to name the shoot after our gorgeous model Kiah. Not only is she the sweetest person you could wish to meet, but as are the master-duo behind the shots - Missy and Dave from EQ Photography. The magic conjured up by creative talent, passion and big dreams never ceases to amaze.

We had the pleasure of being graced by the presence of makeup artist Maddie Daly during the BELÁ TESORO She's a Rainbow lookbook shoot. Her enthusiasm, passion and laughter is infectious and her skills with a makeup kit are admirable. Sometimes you come across a person whose energy completely lights up a room and Maddie is a perfect example.

Most valued beautiful treasure?
My best friend and my Mum. They’re beautiful and make me smile every single day.
Your meaning of beauty?
Beauty definitely goes beyond the makeup I work with every day. I think Anne Roiphe said it best: “A woman whose smile is open and whose expression is glad has a kind of beauty no matter what she wears”.
What do you treasure most about your life?
Most cherished piece of jewellery?
Rosary beads that belonged to my Grandpa.
Favourite BELÁ TESORO product?
The Reluzir and Algeria necklaces – LOVE!
BELÁ TESORO is...
Unique, sophisticated and debonair.
The BELÁ TESORO lady...
is a marvellous individual.
Number one beauty tip?
I double dare you to try something different! A bold lipstick, neon eye shadow, shimmer on your cheeks… Anything to make you feel venturesome. The compliments will make your day.
Favourite wardrobe item?
My entire shoe collection! Cannot go past a classic Zillion pump from Wittner.
Brilliant ladies such as Brigitte Bardot, Coco Chanel and Elsa Schiaparelli are my inspiration for feminine shapes and classic styles. I also love the movie “Singin’ in the Rain” as it inspires me to dress up to feel truly spectacular every day.
The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald and 1984 by George Orwell.
Last cooking success?
Play-dough pancakes when I was four… I’m not a great cook!
Beverage of choice?
Champagne with a strawberry.
Favourite place in the world?
Vatican City, Italy.
Flower by Kenzo.
How do you relax?
I like to do my makeup before taking on a big task - wearing a bright lipstick makes me feel like I can do anything.
Travelling the world and exposing myself to wonderfully different cultures and environments.
Whose wardrobe would you like to raid?
Lady Gaga’s for a laugh.
Sunshine, drinks, friends, fabulous makeup, and then Leonardo DiCaprio makes a surprise appearance and forgets to wear pants.
Your loved ones would describe you as:
Best friend/soul mate says: driven, loyal and giggly.
Always choose happiness.
Always! You can contact Maddie at email@example.com for business enquiries.

Spring is in the air and we couldn't be more delighted about it. These are a few of our favourite things about the season..
- Peaceful picnics complimented by iced tea, fresh seasonal fruit, chilled cider and loved ones.
- Bare skin and giving our hosiery drawers and knit collections a well deserved break.
- Spring cleaning and decluttering - out with the old, in with the new!
- Embracing colour - hello pretty pastels, rainbow brights and pop neons.
- Fresh, fragrant flowers. Our favourites? Lilium, jasmine and gardenia.
- Embracing the longer hours of sunlight with early morning and late afternoon adventures.
- Spring/Summer Fashion Week and turning our heads to the world's leading fashion capitals.
- Getting dolled up like princesses for spring racing festivities.
- Beating the rising heat with effortless updos like twist-and-tie chiffons, sky high topknots, dishevelled braids and sleek ponytails.
- Easy, breezy, beautiful frocks of all hem lengths. Minis, midis and maxis; here we come.
What do you love about spring?

Like a queen in days of old
She shoots colors all around
Like a sunset going down
Have you seen the lady fairer

The BELÁ TESORO lady lives colourfully, embraces extravagance and dresses up for the sheer joy of it. She sports candy-coloured locks, a rainbow of makeup and one-of-a-kind accoutrement. The glamour enthusiast is a bohemian belle at heart who chases her dreams with her wings spread wide. She brightens up every room in beautiful beading, glittering gems and bold bursts of colour. The BELÁ TESORO lady always stops to smell the flowers.

Ooh la la, Lana Del Rey. The sweet-as-pie songstress has taken the world by storm with her "gangsta Nancy Sinatra" tunes and striking retro inspired look. While her signature wardrobe contains beautiful, feminine pieces, every so often she'll throw a spanner in the works to accentuate the rebellious side of an otherwise angelic icon.
Renowned for her extensive flower crown collection and love of pastels, Lana is perfect for the first BELÁ TESORO spring inspiration post. Here she models her signature beehive 'do and an array of glam luxe pieces for H&M's fall campaign, using majestic accessories to polish off a regal composition…
